Here’s the solution! Exterior is reasonably intact, the floor needs some welding but is not rotten through — an eager friend can finish the welding.


The body has done 400,000 km. The engine has run in the car for approx. 200,000 km; it has a set of replacement panels and a vertical Weber carburettor, so it’s fairly lively.


The interior has been completely stripped; the original seats are not available and the car is registered as a 2-seater due to the roll-cage design. The roll cage itself is not fitted but is included; there’s a large pile of interior plastics with the car.

Also included are various spare bits: alternator, distributor, another suspension set, air-filter housing, etc.


The car is in running condition but I recommend collecting it on a trailer. Last inspected (MOT) in 2023.


Rear GTI disc brakes have been fitted and other bits have been tinkered with during my 15 years of ownership.
