Here’s a Bora with unusually low mileage and in the same family since new!

History in short. A retired couple bought it new in 2005 and drove about 10,000 km before the car saw little use due to illness. Since then it has been used by their daughter and grandson up to the present day.

If you’re looking for a sensible daily car with reasonable miles and a clear ownership history, this one fits perfectly! The car comes with two sets of wheels: summer Yokohama tyres with about 7–8 mm tread and sensible Bridgestone studded tyres for winter. Most recent service done August 2025 and the timing belt was changed at 123,000 km in April 2022, so it should run for a long time yet! Services carried out at the local garage from 2014–2025. The body is good for its age; there are dents, signs of use and a few early rust spots, but the underside and general appearance are good. More pictures show this.

Drives solidly — no knocks from the suspension and it doesn’t pull to one side. The mechanics work as they should. Gears, engine and clutch operate smoothly.

VW Group cars — really good engines and the body holds up to Finnish conditions better than newer models!
