This handy little Mercedes with an automatic gearbox is available from regular use (now standing as another car has taken its place). It comes with two sets of tyres on alloy wheels. The summer tyres will comfortably last this summer and the studded tyres should do at least one or two winters. The ride in this car is good and unusually economical — on the road it uses just over 4 litres/100 km. And, as any little Mercedes fan knows, visibility from the driving position is like in an aeroplane. The seat covers are leather. That's something. Defects and other observations

During the winter (Feb 2026) oil change the fitter made the following notes: the right front shock absorber bump stop needs replacing. The driveshaft gaiters likewise need replacing (left and right). At the rear the left coil spring is broken. At the rear left the brakes need freeing or parts replacing. There is a dent in the rear passenger-side door — it is not very visible in the photos, but it is there. These faults do not prevent driving, but it would be advisable to have them checked before the MOT at the end of August. So the car is roadworthy until the end of August. I'm reluctant to part with this little star, but I'm not an engineer in this field, and having these small faults repaired at a garage is costly. Otherwise the bodywork is fairly reasonable.
