This would be a good Audi for someone with repair skills and enthusiasm to fix, or alternatively for spare parts.

The engine likely has a problem with an injector/injectors. It hasn't been investigated in detail apart from replacing the fuel filter, which did not solve the issue. Otherwise the car drives well.

Defects and other observations

Sold for repair or for parts. The engine no longer stays running and stalls from idle. With extended starting the car can be made to run but it then stalls again. At one point fault codes indicated an ignition fault in the third cylinder; that fault code is not currently active. In the autumn the car could briefly stall while driving and then run normally again. The symptoms worsened until the car would not start and it was towed home. Since then it has stood over the winter in a carport. The battery has been charged during storage. The car is not roadworthy as is and must be moved on a trailer or towed.
