Audi A6 Quattro, 2004, Nurmijärvi

A slightly better-than-average A6 with a petrol engine, automatic gearbox, quattro all‑wheel drive and a towbar, offered with a low price reserve.

• First, please note the car is already over 20 years old.

• Despite that, it is in fairly tidy condition.

• There are small spots of rust and one larger scratch/rust combination on the right rear corner (pictured).

• Interior otherwise intact except one glovebox hinge is broken and the passenger door speaker grille is damaged. An intact same‑colour door card can be sourced from a breakers for €100.

• Service book has been lost over time, but some repairs have been carried out recently.

• The gearbox sometimes jerks in certain conditions; an oil change helped a lot but did not fully remove the issue. A gearbox flush may help.

• Minor oil leak from the vacuum pump area of the engine.

• Tyres are legal but not the best.

• Centre console shows age‑related wear (photos).

• 19‑inch summer wheels make the car quite sensitive to ruts and harsher to drive. Alignment may improve the feel, or I would change to 18‑inch wheels.

• Well equipped for its age

• All‑wheel drive works

• Includes 2‑zone climate control, electric leather seats, cruise control, keyless‑go, phone Bluetooth and rear window blinds, etc.

• All seats intact and even tidy

• All extras appear to work

• Looks good on the 19‑inch summer wheels

• 16 studded winter tyres included (some studs missing)

• Decent auxiliary light on the front

• Recalls handled and recently MOT‑inspected.

• Just serviced. Changed oil, spark plugs, gearbox oil, power steering pump, and several gaskets including valve cover gaskets.

• The timing chains also looked recently replaced.

• Towbar fitted, no key. It is currently the fixed type.

• Pleasant V6 burble.

I have tried the Audi and it’s ready for the next owner. Unfortunately not quite to my taste.
