Mercedes-Benz ML, 2007, Mustasaari

This is an ML 420 — a 4.0-litre V8!

In 2016 it was imported from Germany with 194,000 km on the clock. I have owned the car since then and it now shows 417,000 km. During this time I have tried to take very good care of the car and have spent over €28,000 on servicing and repairs. All receipts for services, extras etc. are available and will be handed to the buyer.

The car recently passed inspection with clean papers. The only remark concerned the registration plate light. For example, the exhaust K-value was excellent at 0.01. Next inspection due by 22 April 2027.

The car was professionally resprayed, so the paintwork is unusually tidy and there are hardly any stone chips. The respray was done because the paint was slightly scratched a few years ago while parked at the roadside. Given the car's age the paint is now in very good condition; there is some rust at the lower corner of the left door although I have treated the door interiors with cavity sealant several times. I have avoided brush washes.

The engine is a pleasure to drive and I have not abused it. I once towed a trailer for 300 km and had a towbar professionally fitted in 2023 for that purpose.

We have had dogs, so there are still a few hairs in the boot despite my thorough vacuuming.

The windscreen was replaced in 2024 and is practically free of chips/scratches. The orthopaedic seats work, the heaters work and the air suspension does not leak.

The car has comprehensive equipment, for example four-wheel drive, electric sunroof, cruise control, towbar, parking sensors, heated front seats, Webasto with remote control, DEFA battery charger set, factory-tinted rear side windows and rear screen and beautiful black leather seats! The doors have been treated internally with cavity sealant three times over the years — so internal rust should be limited. An auxiliary lamp improves visibility at night. An Android multimedia unit was installed in 2024 to modernise the system and enable Bluetooth.

There may of course be hidden faults I have not noticed while driving — but I have noted some items for repair. The tailgate does not open with the remote or the release — the pump should be checked for contamination. Occasionally there is a noise from the front right wheel area, but nothing related was found at the inspection. This spring I have had to add coolant and a garage measured pressure from the expansion tank, but the issue has not been investigated further. I have not tried to set radio stations as I listen via Bluetooth, so I cannot confirm the radio's condition. The steering wheel buttons are worn as expected. I have found rust on the left rear door and on the mounting brackets for the additional driving lamps. The interior has small scuffs and marks but not many. The brake discs show some surface rust as the car has not been driven much recently.

The car is sold without summer tyres. The winter tyres are in very good condition — Continental IceContact 3, purchased 1.5 years ago. If the buyer is interested in purchasing for an additional fee, I have genuine AMG wheels and excellent-condition Michelin XL Latitude Sport 3 summer tyres that are optimal for this ML model — these can be discussed separately. The AMG wheels are flawless. I also have other Mercedes-Benz alloy wheels unused for your summer tyres.
