This is a real gem for sale.


I have only had the car for a few days; the previous owner is my neighbour at the summer cottage and lives in Germany and wanted to sell the house/garage where the car was kept.


As I don't have use for the car, I decided to put it up for sale.


The photos tell the story — I can't see any rust or dents.

(I didn't wash it properly, just rinsed off the bigger dust, so there is dirt on the doors and reflections from the tarmac.)


Stored in a warm garage and MOT'd and driven each summer about 300–700 km in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Inspections before 2022 are visible on Traficom for 2006–2009, so it was stored from 2010–2022.


A test drive should be possible if you are a serious buyer, but I would rather not drive it much before oils, belts etc. are changed and while it has hard (old) tyres.

Defects and other observations

The MOT noted a recommendation to replace the windscreen (crack) and an apparent oil sump gasket leak (visible in the photos).


Repairs to be completed by 5 June 2026.


The right rear wheel was a little stiff but can be turned by one hand; the brakes probably need freeing after long storage. The inspector said he did not notice any stiffness on the brake dynamometer.


Requires basic servicing: fluids, oils, belts, etc., as there is no record of recent work and parts are likely old.


The tyres are very old and hard, so practically unroadworthy despite having tread.

Studded tyres are visible in the photos in the background and are likely the same age; steel rims are on both and the rims are in good condition.

A spare wheel is present; I only removed it for the photos and it is probably original.


There is some fuel in the tank; it was likely filled in autumn 2024.


The alternator appears to have been replaced and the battery changed at some point (the old original was on the garage floor).

The battery had been disconnected and according to a CTEK charger was nearly fully charged after 10 months of standing.


It started after about 10 seconds of cranking; I drove it straight to the MOT (~3 km) and then about 2 km home afterwards, then took it off the road again to avoid unnecessary tax and insurance costs.


The exhaust also looks quite new.


The underside has been coated and the inspector specifically said it was well done and the panels are solid.


The radio apparently requires a code after the battery was disconnected, but I haven't found it yet.
