EVO2 is an updated version of the popular Cooltron Reco 60 room ventilation unit. Minimalist matte-white design and a new stylish remote control.

The much-loved Reco 60 has been refreshed and is now the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit features an elegant matte-white finish that blends even better with Finnish home interiors. The EVO2 can be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply unobtrusively. The unit is still delivered with a plug, which is the primary connection option. A completely new and more stylish remote control has also been developed for the unit.

In detached houses, ventilation accounts for about 30–40% of energy use; with the Reco 60 EVO2 you can recover up to 90% of that energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 easily converts natural ventilation into mechanical ventilation. The unit is designed to provide continuous and controlled ventilation to the installed space, bringing fresh air in and taking exhaust air out. The unit’s ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the exhaust air with up to 90% efficiency, so in addition to fresh indoor air you get savings on heating costs. In summer the Reco 60 can also reduce the cooling demand of air-source heat pumps, as exhaust air cools the heat exchanger and reduces incoming air temperature.

The Reco 60 is well suited for garages, storage spaces and holiday cottages. It can also improve ventilation in detached houses that rely on natural ventilation. Larger spaces may require multiple units to achieve sufficient ventilation; in that case the units’ cycles can be timed so some blow out while others blow in simultaneously.

The ventilation unit is designed for through-wall installation. The telescopic structure allows installation in wall thicknesses of 250 mm–400 mm. A Ø165 mm hole is required in the wall for installation. The unit is easy to power using the supplied plug and a standard socket.

The ventilation unit is sized for continuous use and should remain connected to the mains. It is controlled with the supplied remote control or the buttons on the unit’s edge. The unit significantly reduces heat loss, pollen, moisture and carbon dioxide, creating a pleasant indoor climate. The unit can be fitted with an optional HEPA 11 filter (sold separately), which effectively removes allergenic particles from room air.
