EVO 2 is a renewed version of the popular Cooltron Reco 60 room ventilation unit. Minimalist matt-white design and a new stylish remote control.

The highly popular Reco 60 was updated and became the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit now has an elegant matt-white finish that blends even better with Finnish home interiors. The EVO2 ventilation unit can be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply unobtrusively. The unit is still supplied with a plug, which is the primary connection option. In addition, a completely new and more stylish remote control has been developed for the unit.

In detached houses ventilation accounts for about 30–40% of energy consumption; with the Reco 60 EVO2 you can recover up to 90% of this energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 easily converts natural (gravity) ventilation into mechanical ventilation. The unit is designed to provide continuous, controlled ventilation to the installed space by bringing fresh air in and expelling exhaust air. The unit's ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the exhaust air with up to 90% efficiency, so besides fresh indoor air you also get savings on heating costs. In summer the Reco 60 reduces the cooling demand of air-source heat pumps as the exhaust air cools the incoming warm air in the heat exchanger.

The Reco 60 is particularly suitable for garages, storage rooms and cabins. It can also improve ventilation in detached houses that rely on natural ventilation. Larger spaces may require more than one unit to achieve adequate ventilation. In that case the units' cycles can be timed so that some expel air while others supply air simultaneously.

The ventilation unit is designed for through-wall installation. The telescopic structure allows installation in wall constructions 250 mm–400 mm thick. For installation a hole d=165 mm is made in the wall. The unit is easy to power by plugging into a mains socket.

The ventilation unit is sized for continuous use and should remain connected to the mains. The unit is controlled with the supplied remote control or the buttons on the unit's edge. The unit significantly reduces heat loss, pollen, moisture and carbon dioxide, creating comfortable indoor air. The unit can be fitted with a separately sold HEPA 11 filter that effectively removes allergenic particles from room air.
