Now available: a Yeti that feels very good mechanically. Rarely do auction cars run this well. The engine pulls strongly, the turbo doesn’t whistle unnecessarily, the clutch doesn’t judder and the gears engage smoothly. No obvious extra noises from the suspension to my ear and it tracks well. Both tyres are in good condition and the windscreen looks fresh. Service history is well documented — not perfectly, but clearly maintained and looked after.


No auction car is perfect, so here are the downsides:

-Likely remapped, it feels that powerful, though there’s no clear sign that the diesel particulate filter has been removed.

-Not the prettiest example—see fault photos in the listing

-Some dashboard lights are not working
