Slightly damaged but fully functional, 50 pages/min, versatile A4 Lexmark CX820dtfe multifunction printer for demanding business use. Print, copy, scan and fax are conveniently operated from the large touchscreen. The device has 3 paper trays and a bypass feeder. The stapling finisher neatly stacks completed jobs. The machine is on its own castors, but can be converted to a desktop version by removing the lower trays. A new equivalent device would cost €6,000.

Usage to date:

• mono: 8,298 pages

• colour: 4,561 pages

Consumables largely remaining; cartridge levels are: black 83%; cyan 82%; magenta 86%; yellow 82%. With the current cartridges an estimated 27,400 mono and 6,560 colour pages can still be printed, see exhibit. Cartridges are part of Lexmark’s return programme; empty cartridges can be returned to the manufacturer free of charge. According to Lexmark: “The Lexmark CX820dtfe A4 colour multifunction for workgroups delivers print speeds of up to 50 pages per minute and includes enterprise features such as pre-installed software solutions and a stapling finisher.”

There is a clearly visible damage in the top rear corner behind the left-side cover, as shown in the last image. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the technical operation or print quality.

In answer to a common question: all Ethernet devices can be easily and cheaply connected to a wireless network by using a WLAN-to-Ethernet adapter or a Wi‑Fi Ethernet bridge. For example, Verkkokauppa.com currently lists a Mercusys ME30 dual-band Wi‑Fi repeater for €25.
