The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G smartphone features a 16.5 cm (6.5-inch) Super AMOLED touchscreen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 5000 mAh battery with 25 W fast charging, a 64+12+5+5 MP camera system and next-generation 5G connectivity. Touchscreen
The Galaxy A53 5G is fitted with a 16.5 cm Infinity-O touchscreen offering a 1080 x 2400 pixel Full HD+ resolution. The Infinity-O screen maximises the display area to the edges. Thanks to Super AMOLED technology it is more energy-efficient than LCDs and delivers accurate colours and deep blacks. The 120 Hz refresh rate provides a smoother multimedia experience, ideal for gaming, watching videos and browsing social media.

Cameras
On the back is a 64+12+5+5 megapixel quad-camera system with an LED flash. The 64 MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture offers Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and autofocus to ensure sharp images even in poor light. The 12 MP ultra‑wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture is ideal for architecture and landscapes, the 5 MP macro camera lets you take close‑ups, and the 5 MP depth sensor produces stylish portraits with blurred backgrounds. A 32 MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture is placed in the Infinity‑O cutout.

Performance, connectivity and storage
The Exynos 1280 processor includes two performance cores at 2.4 GHz and six power‑efficient cores at 2.0 GHz. This combination delivers good performance and energy efficiency. The chipset also supports 5G data connections, fast Wi‑Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 for a smoother, faster and more responsive experience. Files are stored on 128 GB internal memory, expandable up to 1 TB via microSD card.

Battery and charging
Power comes from a large 5000 mAh battery that can last up to two days on a single charge. The phone charges via USB‑C and supports 25 W fast charging, reaching 50% charge in around 30 minutes.
