Compact Fiat 500 for repair.


Used as a second car and about a month ago the check‑engine light came on. At first it was intermittent but now it is almost constant. Reported fault codes: P0115-11 and/or P0115-15. The temperature is not shown on the dash and the engine fan runs continuously. When cold you need to give a little throttle to start.


Driven about 300 km even with the fault active, so it will probably drive off our driveway but collection is recommended rather than driving it away.


Inspection valid until June.


I am not willing to put time or money into the car, so it is being sold at auction.


Summer tyres and studded winter tyres on matching additional rims. Tread still remaining.

Defects and other observations

About a month ago the check‑engine light came on. At first it was intermittent but now it is almost constant. Reported fault codes: P0115-11 and/or P0115-15. The temperature is not shown on the dash and the engine fan runs continuously. When cold you need to give a little throttle at start because it runs rich (it thinks the engine is -30°C).


If you start the car too quickly the battery warning light may come on. If you leave the ignition on for about a second before cranking, the fault does not appear. It has been like this for my entire ownership and online sources indicate it is a common fault on these cars.


Some surface rust here and there. Not yet affecting the inspection (mainly cosmetic, see pictures).


I am not a mechanic, so other issues may exist, but I have tried to mention everything to the best of my ability.
