For the next owner: roof off and let the summer into the cabin 8-)

The roof consists of removable Targa panels with mirror glass. And you get that V8 sound loud and clear from the chrome side pipes!

Neat condition as shown in the photos. Repainted several years ago and the finish still looks good. A few small chips on the edges of the hatches as seen in the pictures. Nothing catastrophic.

Some mechanical maintenance has been done, e.g. last winter a new camshaft (standard) and lifters, carburettor (Quadrajet) and distributor were fitted. The engine damper and its rubber mounts were also replaced. The engine is original to the car (VIN on the block) and its power corresponds to the original (not tuned).

Seals were replaced where needed, so it does not leak any fluids. Driver's side window regulator repaired and the ignition lock is new. Brakes are fresh and the carbon-fibre leaf spring at the rear has been replaced. Vacuum reservoirs for the pop-up headlamps have also been serviced, so the lamp opening works. The heater control panel and the cabin fan motor were also recently replaced.

There is always something to do with cars of this age, but this one can be driven worry-free. No immediate renovation required.

Items I've noticed that may need attention if you want to tinker:

- Cruise control does not work. All parts are present; fault not investigated.

- A few drops of oil have leaked from the power steering; did not need topping up during last summer's drives. More normal wear than a serious fault.

- A small drop of water entered from the Targa roof seals when washing the car.

- Carburettor settings have not been checked with an exhaust gas analyser.

- The oil pressure gauge sometimes behaves erratically and can read zero. Oil pressure was confirmed with a separate mechanical gauge.

Odometer reading: 58,000 miles (~93,342 km)
