The car comes directly from a customer after purchase. He owned it for almost 12 years and roughly 180,000 km!


A short test drive of a couple of kilometres was done, reaching speeds up to 80 km/h. Despite its rough exterior, it drives well — runs straight, no vibrations, the clutch works well and gears engage smoothly, the engine pulls fine, etc.


I was surprised — even shocked — that this is a Pininfarina-designed car. The legendary design house behind the Ferrari Testarossa and F40, Maserati GranTurismo, Alfa Romeo Brera, etc. On the day this car was designed they must have had more than coffee at the studio... You will hardly find a Pininfarina-designed car cheaper than this!


Equipment includes block heater, radio (works), air conditioning (WORKS!), electric windows and mirrors (work), towbar and more.


The previous owner said the car was serviced regularly and repaired as necessary, although not all work is recorded in the service book or receipts are kept.

Defects and other observations

A short drive of a few kilometres was done and speeds reached up to 80 km/h.


The following observations:

  • There are dents and rust.

  • The boot handle sticks and doesn't return when opened. The lock works, but the handle has to be pushed back after opening (e.g. with the key).

  • Something knocks when turning the steering wheel.

  • Valve lifters or similar are ticking.

  • The inspection noted rust damage on the left rear wheel arch.

  • The inspection noted an engine oil leak. When parked overnight it left marks on the workshop floor.

  • Winter tyres from 2009, but plenty of tread remaining.

  • There are surely other issues, but these were observed.



The car has not undergone a technical inspection by us and may have hidden faults we were unable to detect. Observations were made during a test drive carried out by the seller and based on information from the previous owner. You can arrange to view the car in person before making a binding offer, and I am happy to provide further information by phone.
