Ford to a new home — the car runs and purrs along nicely. The MOT is due in a week, so the car has been used in assessments. A very small amount of work is needed on the undercarriage for the MOT. Longitudinal control arm bearing has play at the front. Tie-rod end (inner) has play on the right front. Left front "dog bone" has play. With these small fixes it will pass the MOT and provide a year of worry-free kilometres. The car has been well maintained and the timing belt was just changed. On the test drive I also noticed that the passenger-side seat heater would not increase; after the drive the seat did not heat up.
