EVO 2 is a renewed version of the popular Cooltron Reco 60 room ventilation unit. Minimalist matte white design and a new stylish remote control.

The popular Reco 60 ventilation unit has been updated to the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit has received an elegant matte white finish that blends even better with Finnish home interiors. The EVO2 ventilation unit can be connected directly to the 230 V mains discreetly. The unit is still supplied with a plug, which is the primary connection option. In addition, a completely new and more stylish remote control has been developed for the unit.

In detached houses, ventilation accounts for about 30–40% of energy use; with the Reco 60 EVO2 ventilation unit you can recover up to 90% of that energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 ventilation unit makes it easy to convert natural ventilation into mechanical ventilation. The unit is designed to provide continuous and controlled ventilation to the installed space, bringing fresh air in and exhausting stale air out. The unit's ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the exhaust air with up to 90% efficiency, so in addition to fresh indoor air you get savings on heating costs. In summer the Reco 60 reduces the heat-pump cooling need, when the exhaust air cools the incoming air in the heat exchanger.

The Reco 60 is ideal for garages, storage spaces and cabins, for example. The unit can also improve the ventilation of detached houses that use natural ventilation. In larger spaces more than one unit may be needed to achieve sufficient ventilation. In such cases, the operating cycles of the units can be timed so that some push air out while others bring air in simultaneously.

The ventilation unit is designed to be installed through a wall. Its telescopic structure allows installation in wall constructions 250 mm–400 mm thick. For installation a hole of d=165 mm is made in the wall. The unit is easy to power using the plug directly from a mains socket.

The ventilation unit is sized for continuous use, so it is intended to remain connected to the mains at all times. The unit is controlled from the included remote control or via the buttons on the unit's edge. The unit significantly reduces heat loss, pollen, moisture, carbon dioxide, creating pleasant indoor air. The unit can be equipped with a separately sold HEPA 11 filter, which effectively removes allergenic particles from room air.
