Nissan X-Trail, 2008, Rovaniemi

This is a true project for a hunter, builder or DIYer, but it needs a clutch overhaul. Nissan X-Trail 2.0 dCi 4x4, year 2008. The odometer shows 306,000 km, which is still quite reasonable for this strong 110 kW diesel engine, but the clutch has failed and does not hold pressure.

Although the car needs work, the equipment and underlying condition are sound. Features include four-wheel drive, navigation, reversing camera, cruise control and, of course, a towbar. For winter there is a block heater and an interior plug fitted, so it will start in colder temperatures once the clutch is repaired.

The car is on SE trim, so it is not a bare-bones model. It has a good service history recorded in full. The vehicle also comes with two sets of tyres!

Faults:

Engine warning light is on: Diagnosed codes for the lambda sensor and the diesel particulate filter (DPF).

The clutch does not hold pressure. The clutch is unresponsive.
