Volvo V70, 2010, Kangasala

2010 Volvo V70 D5 AWD automatic, in which the repairs many similar cars still need have already been carried out. This example is hard to sell more honestly than this.

Maintained and extensively improved by an enthusiast over the past just over 2.5 years.

Key services and repairs carried out:

- Timing cover + water pump + rollers + tensioner + belts replaced at 289,630 km (09/2023) and at the same time new:

* DEFA block heater hose

* DEFA maintenance alternator

* Interior socket

- Drivetrain oils changed

- Brake fluids changed

Oils and filters changed every 10,000 km. STP Engine Flush used at every oil change.

Major known faults typical to these mk3 V70 models have already been addressed:

- Rear control arm bushes replaced with PowerFlex polyurethane

* Four-wheel alignment carried out after bushes replacement

- Sills replaced and entire underside restored:

* Sandblasting

* Phosphoric acid treatment

* 2K epoxy paint

* Cavity protection + seam sealer

Negatives:

- Windscreen cracked at the lower edge (no remark at MOT)

- Webasto does not work (likely the combustion chamber, a known fault)

- Scratches and dents on the rear bumper

- Surface rust starting in the wheel arches in places

- Parking sensors work irregularly, mainly in wet conditions (have been working normally recently)

- Tailgate gas struts weakened

- Inner-edge wear on summer tyres

- Normal wear and tear for age and mileage
