Not at all a wreck — the paintwork shines nicely, although there are a few touch-up areas.

Appearance improved, e.g. with side bars, extra lights and a light bar; there is also an additional light bar on the cab spoiler and the wiring is in place, but the light itself is missing.

Drives with a strong, solid feel and there are no rattles. Clutch/flywheel are good and quiet; gearshift/gearbox is tight and operates smoothly.

The bed folds away, leaving plenty of tall cargo space when stowed. In the cabin the foldaway bed serves as an overhead shelf while driving. The bed is longitudinal towards the cargo area and, when unfolded, is generously sized — it can genuinely sleep two people.

Good multimedia unit with sat‑nav, radio and Bluetooth — it even seemed to be showing some Japanese cooking programme...

Summer tyres are still very good on 18" alloy wheels.

Winter set on 16" alloys; one studded tyre needs replacing because it has been driven with too low tyre pressure.
