Volkswagen Caddy, 2006, Sastamala

Well-maintained VW Caddy for sale – no longer needed after buying a larger vehicle.

The vehicle is currently off the road (standard removal from traffic from February 2026) and is sold for repair due to a fault in the front shock absorbers.

Observed faults:

• air conditioning does not blow cold

• left front corner has been hit – dent in the front wing and headlamp mounting brackets broken

• front shock absorbers (especially the left) need replacing

• rust here and there; sills patched a year ago

• brake pad wear warning light came on recently; not checked whether pads need replacing or if it is a sensor fault

• number plate bulb blown

• remote central locking works poorly

• side door bearing is noisy

• a couple of stone chips in the windscreen

Other

• working Webasto heater

• good, relatively new battery

• recently replaced starter motor

• new water pump and timing kit included

• stereo with USB and Bluetooth

No other faults than those stated above have been observed or are known. With a little work this handy small van will still serve for a long time.

Inspection valid until October 2026.

Vehicle withdrawn from traffic on 18 March 2026.
