  • NOTE! The car will not start. It stalled unexpectedly while in use; it would not start when leaving work. Those more familiar with the issue concluded the timing chain has likely jumped, so a timing-cover/chain repair is required.

  • Rust damage on the sills and tailgate, see pictures. The panel around one number plate light has broken off -> the light has been removed from hanging but is kept in the boot. The wheel-arch liner was welded for the last inspection; further repairs are still needed.

  • Paintwork incomplete. Side paint damage has been patched at home, so the colour is uneven. One front inner wing was replaced with a new one last summer (it was rusted); the colour does not fully match the rest of the car.


Positive points:

  • Tread remaining on both tyres. Summer tyres nearly new, used for only one summer.

  • Air conditioning serviced last summer.

  • Car has a detachable towbar.

  • Interior reasonably tidy, seats show no unusual wear.
