Ford to a new home — it runs and hums along nicely. The MOT is due in a week, so the car is sold as seen. Very minor work is needed on the suspension for the inspection. Longitudinal control arm bearing has play at the front. Tie‑rod end, inner right front, has play. Left front wishbone is loose. With these small repairs it will pass the MOT and provide a year of worry‑free kilometres. The car has been well maintained and the timing belt has just been changed. During the test drive I also noticed that the passenger seat heater won’t move up. However, after the test drive the seat did not heat up.
