Well-equipped BMW needing minor work — ready for a new home! The car was ordered with almost all factory options, including Bang & Olufsen speakers and soft-close doors. The hybrid powertrain improves fuel economy, and this model-year X5 is also excellent to drive. The hybrid battery was tested with Avilo equipment and has a SOH of 90.2%. The battery is therefore in excellent condition and has likely been replaced at some point.


Externally the car is in good condition for the mileage. Small stone chips here and there, and scratches on the loading area, but we found no major dents. The windscreen is intact and both tyres are in good condition.

Defects and other observations

During the test drive we noted: it runs smoothly, the suspension makes no noises and the car does not pull to either side.


The car has been observed to smoke at idle and has been in for fault diagnosis. It is also losing/circulating coolant somewhere. The workshop suspects either a cracked head or engine block. The engine has not been opened or examined further.
