This is a tidy A4 Allroad with good equipment for someone who enjoys a small repair job. The story is that I bought it in November 2025 with a misfire. The fault was a fairly typical burnt exhaust valve. In December 2025 all intake and exhaust valves, the timing chain kit, the balance shaft chain kit were replaced, and of course a major service was carried out with fluids, oil, spark plugs and filters. What I didn't do then was fit new piston rings or replace the engine bearings. The engine still runs and sounds fine, there are no major extra bearing noises, but sometimes while driving it shows low oil pressure. In the video I made for the listing it does not show the warning, but my diagnosis is that it needs bearings and piston rings, and then it will run for a long time again.


I drove about 2,000 km on it without error warnings; I had to add oil occasionally, but that is normal for these engines.


I simply don't have time to do the repair myself right now, so a capable buyer can get a good car.


Inspected in December 2025. Fitted with Laufen studded tyres bought in December 2025; no summer tyres.


Generally tidy, a couple of small rust spots are shown in the pictures, and the plastic wheel arch trims have some typical surface flaking.


Buyer also receives a gearbox service kit, as the gearbox should be serviced in the near future.
