The car's history is known and it was with an elderly gentleman in our circle for the last 5+ years before it came to me.


Everything works and there are no rattles. The gearbox and drivetrain are quiet, shift and pull well. The car has permanent four-wheel drive — no gimmicky Haldex conversions.


Pros / recent maintenance

Defects and other observations

Power steering seeps oil; the bearing and shaft seal should be replaced — approx. €50 for parts. Does not affect driving; only once all winter required about 100 ml top-up.


There is a slight seep of coolant, especially in very cold weather; no obvious leak, possibly from a hose clamp connection. Temperatures stay stable and it heats normally. Only once during the whole winter the expansion tank needed topping up, so the loss is very small. It does not pressurise the system or smoke. The expansion tank cap has also been replaced as it had reached the end of its life.


The tailgate/boot struts failed during winter and should be replaced.
