The cleaning effect of an ultrasonic cleaner is produced by transmitting waves (inaudible to the human eye) through the cleaning liquid. This creates thousands of tiny cavitation centres (microbubbles) that then implode under the same sound waves. The penetration of the microbubbles causes local, rapid pressure changes that detach dirt particles (fat, other impurities) from the surface of the item. This method allows you to clean effectively all surfaces immersed in the tank without scrubbing or wiping the dirt.

When a suitable liquid is used, it is ideal for disinfecting all kinds of items.
