The new version of the DJI Mic 2 features updated transmitter units with 2.4 GHz digital wireless and Bluetooth. Bluetooth lets you connect the transmitters to the DJI Mimo app on iOS or Android. You can even connect directly to an Osmo Pocket 3 or Osmo Action 4 camera. You can change various settings via the Mimo app, such as intelligent noise reduction, which reduces ambient noise to improve recordings, or 32-bit float audio recording*

Note, at present (Jan 2024) the DJI Mic 2 does not directly support Apple's native Camera app. You can download the free Blackmagic Camera app for iPhone and use the microphone via that.

32-bit recording works only with internal recording. Internal recording is not available when the device is connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth.
