The Cube Step In Hot Tub, or just Cube among friends, has American-style dimensions. Two metres by two metres gives four square metres of splashing or relaxing surface. Small children can even swim in this tub! Adults should consider goggles — there’s plenty of room to splash and paddle. And when the children are put to bed, there’s room for the whole neighbourhood — Cube fits up to 12 people without any world-record attempts. You can of course treat yourself and get a Cube as a single-person tub where even the tallest bather can float without hitting head or feet on the edge. You can dive in other than in the foetal position. Cube also makes a guaranteed hit at house parties — there is no roof, so you can enjoy every season from the tub.

More bathing space without large extra water use

Cube can hold over 2,200 litres if filled to the brim. That is a bit unnecessary: when eight to twelve bathers enter, a lot will overflow. We recommend a fill level of about 1,800 litres, only a couple of hundred litres more than a normal hot tub. Even in a country of thousands of lakes, there is no need to turn your garden into a geyser. You’ll quickly learn to estimate the right water amount for the number of people.

The Step In step is versatile

You might not expect much from one plastic step, but it’s useful in many ways. We designed the Step In step to fit Cube and make entering easier. The step helps getting out of the tub and also works as a seat for a small child or as a convenient armrest — making Cube a practical water lounge chair. The Step In solution makes Cube suitable for all ages and easier for people with limited mobility. Tired limbs are easier to lower into the warm water thanks to Cube’s Step In step.

Corner design has been carefully considered so sitting in the corners doesn’t feel stiff — the corner backrests make the corners the most desirable seats.

A wealth of choices

As usual, Hyvän Kaupan Paikka believes the customer is always right, so we offer options for the Cube’s interior. Choose the tub colour from five options and the Step In step placement relative to the heater. You can also choose the exterior cladding from three materials and the cover colour in black or grey. The colour range is inspired by nature — sea blue or lichen grey, for example. All tones are compatible and work well together.

Gentle warmth, efficiently

Our efficient marine-aluminium Arctic heater warms the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kW heater is durable and conducts heat well. It has a glass hatch so you can enjoy the warm glow without opening the hatch to check the fire.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s marine-aluminium heaters are made in Finland. The powerful heater tolerates both fresh and seawater. Carefully chosen materials make the heater a top product. The heater package includes two metres of chimney pipe and a rain cap; for additional pipe, a chimney guard or spark arrestor, see the accessories list.

Note: do not use chlorine with marine aluminium, as it will oxidise the metal. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories). Active oxygen treats water for about 24 hours and then the water can be used for watering plants as it contains no extra chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water may develop slimy buildup on the edges; active oxygen prevents this.

Turbocharged super heater!

An optional super‑crazy 50 kW heater is available to get your tub to temperature almost in a single heating. With this turbo heater the cube can heat up in winter in about an hour; in summer it’s even faster. A three‑pipe system improves circulation between heater and tub. Your drinks may not get cold quickly, but you’ll hardly hear complaints about fast heating.

Low-maintenance plastic tub

The uniquely shaped, comfort-focused Cube tub is rotationally moulded polyethylene. This plastic has ‘memory’ and retains the shape it was moulded into. The easy-care plastic tub ages well, which is why we confidently offer a ten-year warranty.

Because the tub has no moulded seams, dirt has nowhere to accumulate. Remember to keep the surfaces clean when changing water — easily done with normal detergents. Careful users may occasionally disinfect, but remember to handle wastewater correctly.

Wood on the surface, insulation beneath — all domestic quality

Made to order at Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s factory in Oulu, Cube receives a final finish of beautiful wood. The exterior cladding uses deep-heat-treated Lunawood which improves with age. You may treat the wood with preservative, oil or paint, but left untreated it greys attractively over the years. Under the wood sits Cube’s thermal heart: thermo-plastic lining on the sides and over 40 cm of EPS insulation under the tub to keep you warm in harsh winters. Cube is delivered as a winter model, though it works perfectly in summer too.
