Defects and other observations
On a short test drive we observed the following:
SRS fault (airbag system), not further investigated by us. Prevents passing inspection; must be repaired.
The trip computer display in the instrument cluster is dim and hard to read.
Rear brakes make noise although they function normally. After a couple of firm stops / using the handbrake the noise stops for a while. Previous owner had them checked and no fault was found.
Tailgate gas struts are weak, but the tailgate stays up when opened fully.
The car has not been subject to a technical condition inspection by us and not all equipment functions have been tested. It may have latent faults that we did not detect during the test drive. It is possible to inspect the car in more detail before making a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
