Formatic track groomer


- Sisu 4.9-litre engine

- Sauer Danfoss 90-series pumps

- Additional wings

- Two track-setters with side shift and track-groove wideners.


Used extensively in recent years.


- Tracks have approx. 300 h use

- Drive system rebuilt using parts from another compactor; originally fitted with Black Bruin hub motors, which do not hold up in this application. Rebuilt about 30 h ago

- Drive pumps were stripped and seals replaced ~5 h ago


The machine includes a spare tyre and one drive hub for spare parts.


During steering-wheel calibration the controls malfunctioned. It may suddenly apply full pressure to the pump.


So it is not in working order as it stands. The machine does move, but not necessarily where the driver wants it to go.


Control system: Danfoss Plus 1 with MC024-010 box.
