Although its appearance can be misleading, this is a panel van that has always given way to faster traffic,

stopped at red lights, signalled lane changes, and the handbrake works perfectly! 🫡

Additional information

A lowered spring/suspension kit has been fitted so it can travel on passenger-car lanes on ferries. Modifications are registered with Trafi, and larger wheels are registered for summer.

On 17 December 2025 the inspector noticed the front licence plate was hard to see, the tyres were underinflated and someone had put tape on the seatbelt buckle. As a result the inspection was failed.

All faults were properly fixed and on 9 January a re-inspection was carried out with no remarks 👍

Inspection valid until: 11 January 2027

The van has covered a lot of distance; this is proof it has also been carefully maintained to endure that mileage.

Last service (oil, filters, rear wheel bearing, new winter tyres) completed November 2025.

Otherwise oils and filters have been changed roughly every 10,000 km. Suspension issues are fixed whenever a knock is heard (or when a garage/inspector has pointed something out before it started knocking). During its life the gearbox, engine and clutch have been renewed, and the injectors rebuilt. In summer 2022 the whole van had proper bodywork: welding + painting. Now rust is starting to appear again in weak spots (tailgate and side door).

Subwoofer works, all speakers have been replaced. The stereo has Bluetooth and handsfree.

Air conditioning works; it has not needed recharging for several years.

There are a few small things to sort: the auxiliary lights should all work but there are electrical shorts. The extra lights have an additional switch (one rear work light does not work, front Hella long-range lights do not work).

The stereo has a reversing camera display, but sometimes it does not connect to the camera. There are reversing sensors in the rear bumper that beep, but I have never trusted them.

Otherwise we have looked after the van like a reliable friend!

The van was used by a foreman; rear-cargo shelves and a writing table were built as needed. If not required, removal takes only about 15 minutes.

Note! While the basics are in good condition, this vehicle is not new. Vehicles of this age suit owners who know how to look after them and want to keep them maintained. Then they will last a long time.

I have always told friends that a million kilometres is the goal, but now, sadly, due to lack of parking space I must give up the van and pass the goal to the next owner...
