The modern Kraft&Dele inverter welder is designed for shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). Shielded metal arc welding uses a coated consumable metal electrode.

Designed for manual arc welding; electrode thickness is 1.6–5.0 mm depending on the chosen material and its thickness. Stepless welding current adjustment allows optimal welding tasks even for beginners.

The welding machine is equipped with a VRD system that lowers the welding torch voltage when welding is not in progress. This increases user safety by minimising the risk of electric shock. The correct voltage is restored when the arc is struck again.
