Defects and other observations

On a short test drive

  • Runs normally and is driveable. Customer drove from Pirkkala to Ylöjärvi (10 km).

  • The ESP light is on, probably because the steering wheel is noticeably off-centre. Apparently the tie-rod ends have been replaced, but the wheel alignment was not done.

  • The winter tyres are not great — a rear tyre has a bulge that is noticeable up to 40 km/h but stops being noticeable above that.

  • One brake hose has been replaced, but after standing the brake pedal now engages low down; it brakes but weakly. No brake fluid leakage has been observed so far.

  • MOT due. Collection with trade plates or trailer.
