Direct exchange trade-in. The car arrived with programming that was removed during a software update, after which warning lights came on. The engine warning light most likely relates to the EGR following the programming removal. This has not been investigated further.

Engine warning light, glow-plug light, ABS light and traction control fault light are illuminated, and the dual-mass flywheel rattles quite loudly.

Otherwise the vehicle seems to run normally despite the warning lights and knocking. However, it vibrates quite strongly under braking and makes a rasping noise.

There is considerable body damage and surface rust — study the pictures carefully!

Pros

  • Timing work done recently

  • Good studless winter tyres fitted; these are the only wheels included

  • Reasonable mileage for its age



Cons

  • Many warning lights on the dashboard

  • Brakes vibrate noticeably and make noise when braking

  • Dual-mass flywheel rattles quite loudly

  • Considerable rust and wear on the body

  • Windscreen cracked
