On a short test drive we made the following observations:


The car runs nicely, the bodywork is in very good condition! You can tell the car has spent its life in Northern Finland. The gearbox and clutch work as they should. The car moves and stops as it should. We had the car inspected — it passed with no remarks. The inspector also said it is in good condition. It has a towbar, an engine heater with an internal plug and an interior fan. The summer tyres are in very good condition. The winter tyres are still usable but are nearing the end of their life. This tidy Jetta has indeed spent its life in the Kuusamo/Koillismaa area, so the bodywork is very clean and there is no visible exterior rust. The car has been well cared for and many services were carried out at an authorised dealer, see pictures. The most recent service was carried out on 29 October 2025. Why is this listed at auction? We have not carried out an in-depth inspection, but on cold start there is an extra noise, possibly from the timing chain. We also noticed an extra noise when turning left and on one occasion when driving forward. A knock? From the dashboard? Could something be loose? Could it be related to the traction control, so that the knock occurs at the same time a wheel begins to slip.
