BMW 330, 2007, Savonlinna

With interest waning, selling for repair or for parts: an E91 330d xDrive.

The No.3 cylinder has lost compression, most likely due to a faulty injector. It will start but when it warms up it starts to smoke and the idle becomes uneven.

There are other jobs needed, e.g. power steering pump (a new one is included, as is the power steering fluid reservoir), the radiator is leaking from a T-piece, the rear prop-shaft rag joint is ready for replacement (a replacement is included), and transfer/transmission oils should be changed.

From the left front there is occasionally a sharp knock in deeper potholes; we haven't had time to investigate this.

Parking lights do not work; the FRM module has put the parking-light function into a "fault" state, possibly due to a faulty bulb.

But all of the above are easy jobs for a mechanic :D

Overall condition is reasonably tidy for an almost 20-year-old car: small rust spots on the arch and wing edges and a few small dings from car parks.

Interior is in good condition, and even the CUPHOLDERS WORK!!

The previous owner has taped some trim with alcantara tape, and also taped the plastic steering-wheel trim.

Additionally, glow plugs were replaced again, intake manifold gaskets replaced, and a rebuilt starter and that 3-cylinder injector were installed.

The tailgate wiring loom has also been repaired at some point and I have replaced the antenna amplifier, so central locking works.

There is probably something I have forgotten to mention.

ECU remapped to 320 hp / 700 Nm; DPF and EGR are in place.

Transmission: XHP Stage 3.

Front: D2 adjustable struts (height, stiffness and camber), rear: Koni shocks and ST springs.

Small scuffs on the front bumper corners, mirror caps and kidney grilles.

Behind the kidneys are Purelux auxiliary lights.

XDelete licence included.
