The engine warning light had come on and the car is lacking power. Cylinder 2 has substantial misfires, and some misfiring in cylinder 1 as well. Compression in cylinder 2 is 7 bar. Leak-by testing clearly blows into the crankcase, indicating piston damage. The only realistic repair is to fit a replacement engine.

Defects and other observations

During a short test drive we observed the following:

- The engine warning light was on and the car lacks power. Cylinder 2 has substantial misfires, and some misfiring in cylinder 1 as well. Compression in cylinder 2 is 7 bar.
