Defects and other observations

The car stalled in February last year; below are details of the fault received from Wetter in Kajaani:


26 February 2025 — Stored fault codes: P0C79 Front motor drive voltage high, P0C7B Generator drive voltage high, P0C7A Rear motor drive voltage high. Fault codes were cleared but returned immediately. The car still cannot be put into ready state, nor can the transmission be put into neutral.

It appears to be a high‑voltage system problem. Will require considerable time. TK

28 February 2025 — Used indoors on a lift; no visible impact on the battery shield.

The car was considered unstable and moved to the electric‑car park awaiting further action. JS

7 March 2025 — Car taken indoors; fault codes read again and had changed.

Fault code P0AA1 Main Contactor P Weld. In addition, signs of heating visible on the HV battery service disconnect (photos attached). JS

Further Main Contactor P resistance measurements are required per the workshop manual to confirm whether the contactor has welded shut.

10 March 2025 — Measured according to the Battery Main Battery check sheet (1); contactor continuously closed, control does not change the result.

Resistance should be 32–40 ohms, but measured 8.64 MΩ at one connector and 250 kΩ at another. In addition, a continuous voltage of 152 V is present both on the + and − sides between the HV battery service disconnect and the HV battery H10 connector. Contactors are welded shut.

The HV battery contactor pack must be replaced; this requires an authorised workshop and cannot be done here. Also discussed with the importer. JS

NOTE! THE SERVICE DISCONNECT MUST UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES BE RECONNECTED BEFORE THE REPAIR IS CARRIED OUT! THE SERVICE DISCONNECT MUST ALSO BE REPLACED DUE TO SIGNS OF HEATING.

THE VEHICLE'S TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN PUT INTO NEUTRAL AND A WARNING TAG ATTACHED TO THE SERVICE DISCONNECT; DO NOT RECONNECT BEFORE REPAIR!
