Volvo S60 with solid mechanical condition!

The mechanics work as they should and the car runs well. There is a slight knocking noise from the front.

The previous owner had the car for 13 years.

Some bodywork issues (see pictures). Interior is fresh (non-smoker).

Winter tyres have plenty of tread left. Of the summer tyres, 2 are good and 2 are poor.

A good everyday car for the next owner!


New parts fitted in 2025 as follows:

Brake discs front and rear, both sides

All three sections of the exhaust system

Rear shock absorbers

Upper spring seat bearings at the front

Left front wheel bearing replaced December 2025

Oils and filter changed at 496,674 km / 10 November 2025


Please note:

The fuel gauge does not work correctly. Tank capacity is 70 L; when the tank is filled the gauge needle only moves to about halfway. The trip meter must be reset each time you fill up. With a full tank the range is roughly 700–720 km, consumption about 10 L/100 km.

The dashboard may show a check-engine warning light. A workshop checked it with a tester and reported a fault with Lambda sensor no. 1 (before the catalytic converter). A new sensor was fitted in January 2026 but the warning may still appear — perhaps a more expensive sensor was needed? There is still an original sensor after the catalytic converter that has not been changed, which could also be faulty.

The tailgate lock does not open automatically but can be opened with the key; the actuator may be broken.

The timing belt replacement is due; it was probably last changed three years ago and has done well over 100,000 km since.
