ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged particles to clump together and fall out of the breathing zone more quickly as larger, heavier molecules.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air that are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by many microbes, which mix into indoor air as aerosols = microbial toxins, create a huge health risk when they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air cause harm mainly via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative air ionisation depends on high concentrations.

When a unit produces negative ions as well as ozone, its effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, for example upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air present a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air to the lower parts of the lungs (alveoli) and into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergy.

    Ozonation and negative air ionisation work particularly well in an overpressurised building.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation together produce compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, such as sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxins, and stubborn cooking and tobacco odours.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC and VOC compounds from the air.

    Ozonation and negative air ionisation produce a pleasant indoor air that is easy to breathe and comfortable to be in.

    Together they produce very clean indoor air suitable for workspaces.

Indoor ozonation cannot be carried out while people are present because ozone is produced in high concentrations to destroy microbial spores. With high ozone levels combined with negative ions, good cleaning results are achieved even in porous materials. After air treatment, the ozonated space is ventilated before occupants return.
