ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged airborne particles to coagulate, forming larger heavier particles that quickly settle out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds that are very harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes, which enter the indoor air as aerosols (microbial toxins), pose a major health risk when they reach the lungs and the bloodstream. Heavier microbial toxins that do not mix into the indoor air cause harm mainly via spores, which carry these toxic agents.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation is based on achieving high concentrations.

When a device produces both ozone and negative ions into the air, effectiveness is 5–10 times higher than with ozone alone and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, for example upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air represent a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air into the deep lungs (alveoli) and into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

Ozonation together with negative ionisation cleans indoor air of harmful fine particles and also removes bacteria, moulds, viruses and various gases.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work especially effectively in a slightly over‑pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation produce compounds that can efficiently remove microbial spores and various odours, such as sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxins, and stubborn cooking and tobacco odours.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC/Microbial VOCs and VOCs from the air.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation result in a pleasant indoor air that is easy to breathe and comfortable for occupants.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together provide very clean indoor air also for workplaces.

Indoor ozonation cannot be performed while people are present because ozone is produced in large amounts to destroy microbial spores. High ozone concentrations combined with negative ionisation achieve good cleaning results even in porous materials. After air treatment the space must be ventilated before occupants return.
