High-yield, six-stage Adwasys RO370-UV reverse osmosis unit with UV sterilisation for producing drinking water.

The Adwasys 370RO-UV cleans freshwater to drinking quality without chemicals. The powerful unit can produce up to 370 litres of clean water per day. The six-stage process removes up to 99.99% of impurities, viruses and bacteria. The package includes fittings, filters, a water tank and a drinking-water tap.

The reverse osmosis purification system is based on a series of pre- and post-filters and an RO membrane that only pure water molecules can pass through. The final stage is a Philips UV lamp that sterilises viruses and bacteria.

The system has automatic flushing and is maintenance-free apart from filter changes and any storage and recommissioning after storage. The system produces water into a pressurised 11-litre tank, from which it is immediately available.

Six-stage purification process:

1. STAGE 1: Pre-filtration

• 5 µm polypropylene sediment filter removes particulates such as pollen and fine sand

• Protects downstream filters

2. STAGE 2: Activated carbon filtration (granular)

• Granular activated carbon removes chlorine, taste and odour

3. STAGE 3: Activated carbon filtration (block)

• 1 µm carbon block refines water quality by removing heavy metals, humic substances and organic compounds

• Further removes taste and odour

4. STAGE 4: Reverse osmosis membrane

• 0.1 µm RO membrane cartridge (Vontron) 100 GPD (≈378 litres/day)

• Main purification occurs by forcing water through the membrane

5. STAGE 5: Mineralisation

• The final mineral filter adjusts pH to neutral and refreshes taste by adding small amounts of calcium and magnesium.

6. STAGE 6: UV sterilisation

• Removes all organic matter and ensures water is safe to drink
