Cube Step In Hot Tub — or just “Cube” among friends — is American‑sized. Two metres by two metres means four square metres of play or relaxation area. Small children can even swim in this tub! Adults should put on goggles — there’s plenty of room to splash, paddle and play! And when the children are sent off to bed, there’s room in the Cube for the whole neighbourhood’s parents and even grandma — this tub fits up to 12 people without world‑record attempts. You can of course pamper yourself with a solo Cube tub where even the tallest bather can float without bumping head or feet. You can submerge in more than just a fetal position. Cube is also a guaranteed hit at home parties and raises the atmosphere sky high, since the Cube has no roof and you can admire every season from the tub.

More bathing space without major extra water use

The Cube can hold over 2200 litres of water if filled to the brim. That is a bit unnecessary, since when eight to twelve bathers climb in, a great deal of water will flow over the edge. We recommend a fill level of about 1800 litres — only a couple of hundred litres more than a normal‑sized tub. Although Finland is a country of thousands of lakes and water is abundant, there’s no need to make your Cube into a one‑time backyard geyser. Estimating the right water amount for the number of bathers is easy to learn.

The Step In step has many uses

You wouldn’t think a single plastic step could do so much, but it does. We designed the Step In step to make entering the Cube easy. The step naturally helps when getting out of the tub, but also works as a seat for smaller children whose heads might otherwise sink on the main seats. In use we have also found the step to be an excellent armrest — it turns the Cube into a handy water armchair. The Step In solution makes the Cube suitable for bathers of all ages and eases bathing for people with limited mobility. Tired limbs are easier to lower into warm water thanks to the Cube's Step In step.

In Cube’s design the corners have been given special attention; corner seating is not stiff and uncomfortable, but corner backrests make those spots the most desirable in the tub.

A wealth of choices

As usual at Hyvän Kaupan Paikka, the customer is always right, so we offer several options for the Cube’s interior. Choose the tub colour from five options and consider the Step In step position in relation to the heater. But that’s not all. You can also choose the exterior cladding material from three options and pick the cover colour between black or grey. The tub colour range is inspired by nature — options include sea blue and lichen grey. All colour schemes are compatible and work well together.

Gentle heat, efficiently

Our effective sea‑aluminium Arctic heater warms the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. At 35 kilowatts the heater’s sea‑aluminium is durable and conducts heat well. The heater is fitted with a handsome glass door so the wood‑fired tub creates a pleasant glow and you do not need to open the door to check the fire.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s sea‑aluminium heaters are manufactured in Finland. The powerful heater is not afraid of seawater and is suitable for both fresh and marine water. Carefully considered material details make the heater a top‑quality product. The heater package includes a two‑metre chimney pipe and a rain cap; if you want more pipe, a chimney guard or a spark arrestor, see the accessories list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended for use with sea‑aluminium, as chlorine oxidises sea‑aluminium. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories list). Active oxygen treats the water for about 24 hours, after which the water can also be used for irrigation, since it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water can easily form slimy residue on the tub’s edges, but active oxygen prevents this process.

Turbocharged super‑heater!

As an extra you can order a super‑crazy 50 kW heater for the Cube, which will get your tub ready for bathing nearly in a single heating session. With this turbocharged heater the cube of water can warm in winter in as little as an hour, and naturally faster in summer. A three‑pipe system improves water circulation between the heater and the tub. With this heater your drinks may not cool fast enough — but you’re unlikely to hear complaints about the tub heating quickly.

Carefree plastic tub

The uniquely shaped, comfort‑focused Cube tub is rotationally moulded polyethylene. This plastic has memory — it wants to keep the shape it was moulded into. The low‑maintenance, carefree plastic tub stands the test of time, so we confidently offer a ten‑year warranty on it.

Because the plastic tub has no moulded seams, dirt does not collect in specific spots. Remember to keep the surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy with normal cleaning agents. Exacting users may occasionally disinfect their tub, but remember to handle wastewater correctly.

Wood on the surface, insulation below — all Finnish quality

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s Oulu factory your Cube is finished with beautiful wood. The exterior cladding uses Lunawood deep‑heat‑treated timber which ages gracefully. If you wish you can apply wood preservative, oil or paint, but left untreated the wood will gracefully silver over the years. Beneath the wooden shell beats the Cube’s thermal heart: the tub is lined with thermoplastic at the sides and beneath it is a carefully made EPS insulation layer over 40 cm thick that keeps you warm even in the harshest frosty winters. Cube is automatically the winter model, but using the tub in summer is perfectly fine. Expect relaxed enjoyment and a touch of luxury in daily life.
