Premium quality for a few extra hundred

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we make quality hot tubs, and the Premium series goes a step further thanks to its larger size. For a few extra hundred you get a bigger tub and premium‑level comfort. In smaller tubs legs often get cramped in the centre, but an extra 30–40 cm of diameter makes a big difference. A wealth of options

We apologise in advance for making the purchase decision a little involved — a good problem: you get choices to tailor the Premium Hot Tub to your taste. Choose the plastic tub colour from five options, pick the outer cladding from three materials, and select the lid colour between black or grey. The tub colour palette is inspired by nature (e.g. sea blue or lichen grey). All shades are compatible and work well together.

Insulation for northern conditions

To achieve premium insulation we wrapped the Premium Hot Tub in substantial thermal layers. Under the plastic tub there is 44 cm of EPS insulation to keep frost away and the water warm in cold weather. We also applied plenty of thermoplastic insulation to the sides so the rim is insulated too. This efficiency keeps the Premium Hot Tub warm for a long time when closed with the lid. For winter bathing we recommend one load of wood before the next day's bath. Active oxygen tablets used after an evening bath refresh the water for the next session.

Gentle heat, efficiently

Our powerful marine‑aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kW marine aluminium stove is durable and conducts heat well. It has a decorative glass door so you get a pleasant fire glow without opening the door to check the fire.

The marine‑aluminium stoves in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka packages are made in Finland. A high‑output stove copes with both fresh and brackish water. Carefully chosen materials make the stove a top product. The stove package includes two metres of chimney pipe and a rain cap; if you want extra pipe, a chimney guard or spark arrestor, see the accessories list.

Note: chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium because it can oxidise the alloy. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories). Active oxygen treats water for about 24 hours; afterwards the water can be used for watering as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water may form a slimy film on the rim, which active oxygen prevents.

Carefree plastic tub

The uniquely shaped, ergonomically designed tub is rotationally moulded polyethylene (Jaxal). This plastic has memory and keeps the shape it was moulded into. The easy‑care plastic tub endures well, and we therefore offer a ten‑year warranty.

Because the plastic tub has no moulded seams, dirt does not collect in hidden places. Remember to keep the surfaces clean when changing water — it is easy with ordinary detergents. Thorough users may occasionally disinfect their tub, but remember to handle wastewater appropriately.
