Key cylinder set with Abloy Classic locking system. Includes 2 CY001 key cylinders and 3 keys.


The product uses the Abloy Classic locking system. It is a traditional basic-level system intended for single locking needs such as securing a rowboat, shed or similar. The cylinders are keyed alike to work with the same key.

The cylinder diameter is 52 mm, the thumbturn diameter 50 mm and the protective escutcheon height 25 mm. Product weight approx. 0.7 kg.

The external escutcheon is plated brass and the internal thumbturn plated zinc.

The package includes all necessary screws, spindles, extension pieces for door thickness 48–90 mm and installation and maintenance instructions.

Installation usually requires side cutters to shorten the fixing screws and spindles or alternatively a hacksaw. A Torx (T20) screwdriver is sufficient for installation.

The lock is opened from the outside by turning the key clockwise and, once opened, the key is returned to its original position by turning it counter-clockwise. From the inside the lock is opened by turning the thumbturn clockwise.

The product fits most domestic solid-door lock cases, for example ABLOY LC102 and ABLOY LC190. The cylinder offers high resistance to pulling, twisting and sawing.
