The device is simple to operate: once the felling direction is chosen and the required felling cut is made, the wedge is inserted into the saw cut and the trigger is pressed. The threaded rod driven by the power tool pushes the wedge forward between the stainless steel lamellae, opening the saw cut and causing the tree to fall in the chosen direction.

The mechanical felling directioner produces the force needed to fell trees precisely in the desired direction easily and without straining the faller. A safety distance of twice the length of the tree being felled must be observed. One 4 Ah battery can fell dozens of trees.
