This is a well-equipped B‑Class for someone with repair skills. The car was fully drivable, ran as it should, there were no unusual noises and all electrical equipment worked. We decided to service the car after it had seen little use and thought it was a good time for a service. We began work and changed the fuel filter. After that the car would not start. It cranks but does not fire. Then the battery went flat and now it won’t even crank or start. Completely dead. Before the battery ran out completely we read fault codes with our general tester and it showed no fault codes — a photo of the tester screen is included among the pictures. We intended to change the oil and filter too, but THESE HAVE NOT BEEN changed now; they were last changed as shown in the service record. This car has an electronic service book and a printout will be supplied with the vehicle.

I consider this a good service history, the manufacturer's recommended interval was 25,000 km; this is also shown on the printout that comes with the car. This is an original Finnish car with no known accident history.

Nice light leather interior; the driver’s seat shows heavier wear, as seen in the photos. The interior also needs cleaning. The car has speed‑sensitive cruise control (Distronic), which worked perfectly when the car still started.

The cause of the no‑start has not been further investigated — we only read the codes with the tester and tried to start it a few times until the battery went flat. There are no funds to investigate/repair further, so I have to sell it as I lack the expertise to diagnose or fix it.

The body is tidy considering its age and mileage. No rust, dents or large scratches. Normal wear consistent with age and kilometres.

The MOT is valid until 30/03/2026. The car has studded tyres, and I am unsure whether they will pass the next inspection. The car will not start; the cause is unknown. While the battery had some charge it did crank but would not fire. Multiple start attempts were made. No unusual noises were heard and before the fuel filter was changed everything worked perfectly. The general tester did not show any fault codes from the engine or its control units. It was a good car to drive.
