High-yield, six-stage Adwasys RO370-UV reverse osmosis unit with UV sterilisation for purifying drinking water.

The Adwasys 370RO-UV makes freshwater potable without chemicals. The powerful unit can produce up to 370 litres of clean water per day. The six-stage process removes up to 99.99% of impurities, viruses and bacteria. The package includes fittings, filters, a water tank and a drinking-water tap.

The reverse osmosis purification system is based on a series of pre- and post-filters and an RO membrane that only allows pure water molecules to pass. The final stage is a Phillips UV lamp that sterilises viruses and bacteria.

The system features automatic flushing and is maintenance-free except for filter changes and any long-term storage and re-commissioning. The system supplies water to a pressurised 11-litre tank from which it is immediately available.

Six-stage purification process:

1. STAGE 1: Pre-filtration

• 5 µm polypropylene fine filter removes solids such as pollen and fine sand

• Protects the following filters

2. STAGE 2: Activated carbon filtration (granular)

• Effective granular activated carbon removes chlorine, taste and odour issues

3. STAGE 3: Activated carbon filtration (pressed)

• 1 µm pressed activated carbon filter refines water quality by enhancing earlier filters, removing heavy metals, humic substances and organic compounds

• Further removes taste and odour

4. STAGE 4: Reverse osmosis membrane

• 0.1 µm RO membrane cartridge (Vontron) 100 GPD

• The main purification is done by forcing water through the membrane

5. STAGE 5: Mineralisation

• The final mineral filter corrects the water pH to neutral and refreshes taste by adding small amounts of calcium and magnesium.

6. STAGE 6: UV sterilisation

• Removes all organic matter and ensures water is safe to drink

A comprehensive replacement filter kit is available for the system: Adwasys F370 replacement filter pack, and a spare UV lamp bulb.
