  • Dealer-serviced until 2016 (service-book photos), then serviced annually up to 2024 (most service receipts available).

  • Failed inspection on 4 July 2025 and has been off the road since. Failure details in the attachment. Main reason: rust (underbody, rear wheel arches), repaired three times in previous years; other failures: front lower control-arm ball joint, rear brake and a broken exhaust pipe.

  • There has been an electrical fault for a couple of years that does not affect driving: when switching off the engine and lights the light switch must be moved to a different position than usual, otherwise the alarm remains on when leaving the car. Occasionally not all electric windows open until they later do (lubrication has helped); on the last drive the windows worked.

  • The remote key function does not work; this is not due to worn batteries.

  • In the last month or two the battery has likely drained while the car was standing, as only the driver's door opens (so I could not get better photos of the summer tyres in the boot).


There are two keys, one of which was made later after the other original key was lost many years ago. The seat fabric is intact and not worn. The car has a working CD player and radio. Includes Mazda dog guard (the household has not had pets; used as extra protection when carrying items).
